![]() We’ve recently been experimenting with our capabilities of digitally printing on canvas material. The canvas material is all its name promises to be -- just like an artist’s oil paint would go on, but specially coated for accepting a digital print. What we’re doing with it is putting a wide format inkjet print directly on the canvas, using a printable area of around 34 inches wide (by however long the print would require). Why is this awesome? Unlike your typical prints the canvas actually has a visual and tactile texture, you can actually see and feel it! People have expressed a great interest in having photos printed up to hang up in their homes; things like family photos, senior pictures, sport shots and so forth -- whether it’s just a standard photo or an interesting ensemble put together in a unique collage fashion. Also: fine art prints and a fancier version of a poster are a couple other routes the material can be taken in. That said, it’s clearly not limited to just what we’ve mentioned. If you can print it off, you can print it on canvas.
Do you have a picture you’d like to get a little more creative with displaying? Give us a jingle or shoot an e-mail over and we can give you some options! Curious about printing on other types of media? Feel free to ask about other medias we print on, if we haven’t tried it before we’re more than likely open to giving it a try! |
