FAQs for Vehicle Wraps:

How long does a vehicle wrap last?

A high-quality professional wrap typically lasts between 5 and 7 years. This lifespan depends heavily on the quality of the vinyl used and how well the vehicle is maintained. In harsher climates, horizontal surfaces like the hood and roof may show wear sooner due to more direct sun exposure and environmental debris.

Will a vehicle wrap damage my cars paint?

When applied to OEM (factory) paint that is in good condition, a wrap will not damage the surface. In fact, the vinyl acts as a protective barrier against UV rays, bird droppings, and minor scuffs. However, if the car has been repainted or has existing chips and rust, there is a risk that the paint could lift during the removal process.

How long does install normally take?

For a full wrap, you should generally expect the process to take 3 to 5 business days. This window allows for a multi-step process: deep cleaning the surface, removing hardware (like door handles and mirrors) for a seamless finish, the actual application, and "post-heating" to ensure the adhesive stays locked in place.

Can a vehicle wrap be removed?

Yes, vehicle wraps are designed to be semi-permanent and fully removable. When removed by a professional using a heat source, the vinyl should pull away cleanly without leaving behind heavy adhesive residue or damaging the underlying factory finish.

How do you clean the vehicle after it’s wrapped?

Hand washing is the gold standard for wrap care. Use a soft sponge and a mild, non- abrasive detergent. You should avoid automated car washes that use brushes, as they can scratch the vinyl or lift the edges. If using a pressure washer, keep the nozzle at least 12 inches away from the edges and avoid high-pressure settings.

Spot Graphic

This is the most budget-friendly way to brand a vehicle. It involves applying individual logos, phone numbers, or small decals to specific areas like the doors, hood, or tailgate. You aren't changing the vehicle's color; you're just adding "spots" of information directly onto the original paint.

Partial Wrap

A middle-ground option that covers anywhere from 25% to 75% of the vehicle. The design is strategically created to "flow" with the car's lines, often using the vehicle's original paint color as a background element. It provides a high-impact, professional look without the price tag of a total transformation.

Full Wrap

The ultimate "moving billboard." This covers most of the vehicle's painted surfaces. It allows for a total transformation—you can turn a plain white van into a vibrant, fully branded masterpiece. It offers the most advertising space and the best protection for the paint underneath.
